An innovative material for even better performance

Unlike a brushed material (such as a fleece or brushed jersey) that gets crushed under pressure and gets worn with chafing (piling), this material with its 3-dimensional construction maintains a thin layer of insulating air in any situation: this is known as being more resilient.
This innovative material is less permeable to air and will be enough on its own for a little longer than a fleece in the event of wind.
Once on, the sweatshirt is much more breathable than a softshell.

Product Testing

We carry out 2 types of thermal testing:\n- either a test of the material of our fleeces.\n- or testing on a thermal manikin in a thermal chamber. We reproduce the conditions of temperature, wind (3 mph) and humidity that you would encounter in the mountains walking at 3 mph in our testing chambers.\nThese tests allow us to validate our design choices. So we can adapt our thermal insulation where you most need it.
