The Veiled dress shapes and drapes the body with it’s bias cut design, making it flattering for all. Soft cowl neck at the front and back with beautiful detailing of dome shank buttons and rouleau loop fastening on the left shoulder. Fitted full length sleeve. Tuck details at the front and back of the waist. Invisible zip in the side seam. Full length with the hem finishing above the ground with the option to wear with flats or heels (depending on height of the wearer).  

The print was brought back and reworked as a celebration of 10 years of Ingrid Starnes. “The colours and rambling botanicals reminding me of the Dali painting ‘Three young surrealist women holding in their arms the skin of an orchestra and their heads of flowers”.

All pieces are numbered, to shine a light on the artist edition values, design decisions and process of meaningful production that goes into the clothing. Anyone owning a piece knows theirs is special, one of a consciously limited run, and a positive alternative to over-production.
